HeART & Home Community Artists Reception (All Ages)

Come celebrate a month of Art Making! Join us to share your HeART & Home art creations and reflections.

We will begin this celebratory reception with an optional art activity.

Fair Housing Project’s Corrine Yonce will introduce the HeART & HOME, Home Then & Home Now art activity from our HeART & Home Project to kick off this reception. Review the activity here on our HeART & Home project website and bring whatever materials you deem appropriate.

We will have participants share the pieces they have made throughout Fair Housing Month and reflect on how Fair Housing Month has shifted their perception of home and inclusive communities.

And there are prizes, too! All reception attendees and everyone who submits photos of their art to fhp@cvoeo.org will be entered in a drawing for CVOEO “Committed to a Just Society” shirts and copies of the “Race for Profit” and “A Chair for My Mother” books.

Panelists will focus on challenges to housing & mobility in Vermont, current policy proposals to remedy inequity, and creative solutions from around the country.
