Join Northwest Vermont REALTOR Association, Vermont Legal Aid and CVOEO’s Fair Housing Project in a cooperative fair housing game that explores how civil rights are furthered (or thwarted) through community land use decisions. Practice taking action to create inclusive communities by navigating typical conflicting interests, conscious and unconscious biases, and land use challenges that play out in towns across Vermont. Or take on the role of an obstructionist. Will your zealous advocacy turn others away? Will you save the trees? Can your group create the bestest Vermont town ever? Or will you throw in the towel because it’s just too darned hard?
This event is a Continuing Education course for realtors. However, ALL are welcome.
