Fair Housing Training for Municipal Officials

This workshop is for Vermont Community Development Program CDBG municipal grantees and local Housing Committee members. We will cover the history of the Fair Housing Act and the resulting protections under Federal and Vermont law, how and when fair housing law applies in Vermont, access requirements for people with disabilities, land use planning and fair housing; and what municipalities can do to promote fair housing and inclusive neighborhoods.
