My work focuses on place-based, story-centered paintings and installations. I explore the connective qualities of story sharing and receiving through figurative painting and audio portraits. My work often combines visual art—painting and mixed media—with audio, manifesting a creative and engaging approach to documentary that highlights (in form as well as content) the human, and humane, aspects of sharing the experiences of others.
