Fair Housing Month and Your Library

It's that time of year! Join us for Fair Housing Month and Your Library, a zoom webinar about how libraries can participate in Fair Housing Month! While this webinar is targeted for librarians, we invite community partners to join to learn how they can work with libraries to bring Fair Housing Month programming to their communities.

April is Fair Housing Month and VTLIB is happy to partner with the Fair Housing Project of the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity for another series of public education and art events. The goal of these events is to raise awareness about the importance of equal access to housing, free from discrimination, and the positive role that inclusive, affordable housing plays in thriving communities.
Join us to learn about Fair Housing Month activities and resources, hear from a panel of librarians from around the state, and share your ideas and plans for April.
Feel free to invite other local organizations that might be interested in this topic or be potential partners on related programs or projects.

This event will be held on MS Teams. Link to access it on the VTLIB website CE page.
